GCC released the Fifth episode of the 'Love Never Ends - Documentaries of the Church in China' series with the title of 'Heaven on Earth'. It describes the historical development of Chongyi Church, the biggest church in China today. With a seating capacity of over 6000, it is a place where people can come and enjoy a little bit of Heaven on earth. It also tells the story about the beautiful city of Hangzhou has now a new highway of faith that leads people to the Heavenly Paradise.

ECF International Chapel Dedication was held at the Headquarters with over 50 people attending the ceremony. Dr. Harold Lane, Chairman of the ECF Board, was the speaker for this special celebration. A few people decided to join the Chapel by baptism on May 13, 2007. Praise the Lord.

Sponsored by Education and Culture Foundation, a special dancing performance "Dancing out the Rainbow", by Linda Lai's Dancing Studio was held at San Gabriel Civic Auditorium to raise support for the ECF's child sponsorship programs in India and Macau. About $25,000 was raised and will benefit the needed children.

The ECF Global Communication Center has produced a 10-minute DVD entitled ¡§Touching Lives with Love¡¨ to showcase the opportunities available to share in the lives of the children in the Orphanages of Macau and India and at the ECF Children Center in the Philippines and for the training of Bible students at the Bethel Bible Institute in Thailand. The 1st Baptismal Service and Child Dedication for the International Chapel were held at the Pasadena Baptist Church. Seven brothers and sisters were baptized and one child was dedicated unto the Lord. The baptism and dedicaton service was conducted by Dr. Harold Land and Dr. Paul Szeto.

A total of thirty one people from around the world joined together to celebrate ECF 60th Anniversary in Shanghai with various activities including visiting New City Middle School, Home for the Aged and also the original site of the Orphanage.

GCC released the Sixth episode of the 'Love Never Ends - Documentaries of the Church in China' series with the title of ¡¥Fruitful Harvest: A Story from the Countryside, Sihui Christian Church¡¦. It describes the exciting growth of a small congregation, meeting in a small house in the countryside of China. The Sihui Christian Church, with a strong faith in God, the practical help from the local government and the financial support from overseas believers, built a new church for worship; called a full-time pastor and baptized over 200 new believers in just two years. It is truly a fruitful harvest in China.

An Ordination Ceremony for Mr. Eddie Chan, ECF Coordinator in Asia, was held in Macau Grace Community Chapel, with about 100 people attended this joyous occasion. The ordination committee consisted of Dr. Paul Szeto, Dr. Nathan Yeh, Dr. Samuel Lo and Rev. Abraham Yeung. A thanksgiving banquet was held at the Hotel Royal after the ceremony.

The 4th baptismal service was held at the Macau Grace Community Chapel with six new believers were baptized by Dr. Szeto.

The ¡§Rainbow Performing Group¡¨ conducted a stage performance ¡§Searching for Love¡¨ at the Baldwin Park Performing Arts Center to raise support for the ECF's mission projects in Cambodia.

Dr. Szeto conducted Gospel meetings at Vienna, Steye, Salzburg in Austria and at Muttenz, Wettingen in Switzerland along with Dr. Nathan Yeh who shared with music.

June/July

ECF Medical Team consisted of Dr Anson Yew, Dr. Christine Szeto Yew and Dr. Andrew Cheng, joined together with five doctors from Hangzhou were in Lin-On to provide medical service to about 60 needy patients. ECF is working with Rev. Deng, Chairman of Christian Social Service in China to develop an urgently needed Medical Mobile Project in order to provide the needed service in the villages.

An ECF English Teacher Team was to Hangzhou for a 2-week English training for young professionals and Christian workers from churches. The team was led by Mr. John Ho with four members, Molly Chang, Doreen Szeto, Deke Wilkins and Francisco Gamboa. The team also visited the Orphanage in Macau.

A new book title ¡¥Toward The Higher Goal¡¦ was published and distributed. It was compiled from 100 articles written by Dr. Paul Szeto, Mr. John Ho and Mr. John Qu.

The Third Anniversary Celebration of Global Communication Center and Global Rainbow Magazine were held at the Headquarters. The theme for the celebration was ¡§Impact the World from Within¡¨. The speaker, Mrs. Lin Yao Chen, shared on the topic ¡§A Joyful Life¡¨ in the morning session. Mr. Suli Xue, a violinist from China, performed a violin solo concert in the second session. Over 70 people attended.

Dr. Szeto with two Board Directors, Mr. Anthony Chan and Mr. stephen Leung attended the Opening Ceremony for the Primary School in Shuping, Henan, China. This is school #10 that ECF donated in China.

ECF 60th Anniversary Celebration Thanksgiving Banquet was held at the San Gabriel Hilton Hotel. 150 people attended with guests from Switzerland, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau and other countries. A Faithfulness Award was given to six recipients to recognize their faithful services on the ECF ministries.

ECF International established the ¡¥Paul and Dorcas Szeto International Scholarship¡¦ at the Azusa Pacific University. The endowment of US$250,000, donated by ECF International, will enable Azusa Pacific University to provide scholarships for International Students.
The Scholarship presentation was held at the ECF 60th Anniversary Celebration Thanksgiving Banquet. Dr. Harold Lane and Prof. Anthony Chan representing ECF International presented the scholarship endowment to Dr. Jon Wallace, President of APU and Dr. Michael Whyte, Provost of APU.
